We are currently looking to fill the following positions by May 1st 2026.
General Manager
As Camp General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Safari Camp, including overseeing staff, managing operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or Business Administration is preferred.
Experience: Generally 2–5 years as a hotel general manager or in a senior management role (e.g., Assistant GM, Director of Operations), often requiring experience in 3-star or higher hotels.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Leadership & Management: Ability to manage, train, and mentor staff to provide excellent customer service.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of revenue management, budgeting, and profit/loss (P&L) management.
Operational Proficiency: Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) like Oracle Opera, Channel Managers, and booking engines.
Strategic Planning: Ability to analyze market trends and develop marketing or operational strategies.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests, owners, and employees.
Physical & Working Conditions:
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful, fast-paced situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Hiring, supervising, training, and motivating camp staff to meet performance standards.
Guest Satisfaction: Ensuring a seamless and enjoyable guest experience, addressing complaints, and implementing strategies for improvement.
Budgeting and Finance: Creating and managing budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting financial performance.
Operational Oversight: Overseeing all aspects of the camp's daily operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
Department Coordination: Coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract guests and increase revenue.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Communication: Communicating regularly with owners, investors, and other stakeholders.
Reservation Manager
Position Summary: As Reservation Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the reservation process, ensuring a positive guest experience, and maximizing revenue generation for our camp. This will involve managing bookings, synchronizing bookings from different booking platforms, reply to guest request(s) on a timely manner, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in hotel reservations or front office, with proven experience in luxury or reputable hotels.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PMS systems (e.g., Opera), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and online booking tools.
Revenue Knowledge: Ability to manage inventory, rate structures, and group bookings to maximize revenue
